Welcome to St. Mary Gate of Heaven Parish
Founded by the Montfort Missionaries in 1904, St. Mary Gate of Heaven Parish has celebrated over 100 years as a dynamic Catholic community of fellowship, faith, spirituality and service. Originally the parish consisted of a nucleus of about 80 families and these simple beginnings have borne much fruit in giving rise to the large and ethnically diverse parish which has been the spiritual home of so many thousands of families for more than a century.
Presently SMGH has a membership of approximately 1400 families. Over 500 children attend the parish school and another 250 children are enrolled in the parish religious education programs. We are a bi-lingual community with Mass and prayer being celebrated in both in English and Spanish each week.
