  • Please remember to wear a mask when coming to church and to use hand sanitizer as you enter.

  • There are 78 designated seats marked with green crosses. Please use these seats to keep the 6-feet social distancing requirement.

  • At this time, only the priests and deacons will distribute Holy Communion.

  • Communion will continue to be distributed in the usual way. Please remember to observe the 6-feet of social distance on the communion procession. The communicant should approach wearing a mask, and after stepping to the side, lower the mask and consume the Eucharist.

New Live-streams Schedule

Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, all churches and rectories in the Diocese of Brooklyn are closed, and all public Masses are canceled until further notice. During this time, our parish has been streaming Masses and Devotions LIVE from the church with Fr. Carlos and Fr. Baltazar. Although we cannot be physically together, these livestreams are affording us the opportunity to pray together and to form a virtual community.

Father Carlos begins his summer studies on Monday, June 8th. He will not be traveling to Chicago this summer, but he will be distance learning and spending several hours a day in a virtual classroom online. As a result, there is a need to change the daily live-stream schedule. Since the church will be now be open for private prayer, will be discontinuing the Daily Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet. We will continue live-streaming Daily Mass in Spanish at 8:00am and in English at 8:45am as well as the Eucharistic Holy Hour on Thursday evenings. Sunday Mass will continue to be streamed at 11:00am in English and at 12:30pm in Spanish.

Holy Virgin of Guadalupe, Queen of the Angels and Mother of the Americas. We fly to you today as your beloved children. We ask you to intercede for us with your Son, as you did at the wedding in Cana. Pray for us, loving Mother, and gain for our nation and world, and for all our families and loved ones, the protection of your holy angels, that we may be spared the worst of this illness. For those already afflicted, we ask you to obtain the grace of healing and deliverance. Hear the cries of those who are vulnerable and fearful, wipe away their tears and help them to trust. In this time of trial and testing, teach all of us in the Church to love one another and to be patient and kind. Help us to bring the peace of Jesus to our land and to our hearts. We come to you with confidence, knowing that you truly are our compassionate mother, health of the sick and cause of our joy. Shelter us under the mantle of your protection, keep us in the embrace of your arms, help us always to know the love of your Son, Jesus. Amen.
